Road Partnership
Improving the image and economic vitality of Florin Road
Established 1997 in an attempt to revitalize the struggling shopping corridor along Florin Road, the Florin Road Partnership (FRP) is proud to be the oldest PBID on a commercial corridor in California, and one of the oldest in the Sacramento area. FRP was also among the first in the state to renew for a 10 year term. Since the 1990s, the Partnership has played a vital role in economic development and in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our district which spans approximately 24.1 million square feet and encompasses more than 215 property owners and well over 400 merchants. Florin Road is extremely proud of our multicultural district. Due to our team efforts, crime, litter, and homelessness within the boundary of the Partnership have been drastically reduced and our businesses are enjoying a renewed sense of optimism.
A thriving, inclusive, and safe Florin Road corridor recognized as the economic and cultural heart of South Sacramento, welcoming to businesses, residents, and visitors alike.
Measurable Results
Every year the Partnership publishes verified data on the outcomes of our programs. These numbers reflect the real impact of collective investment in the Florin Road district.
The Partnership supports more than 500 businesses along Florin Road through security, advocacy, marketing, maintenance, and other services.
The Partnership works with 215 property owners to support the continued improvement, maintenance, and safety of the Florin Road Partnership.
The Partnership serves a 24.1-million-square-foot commercial corridor spanning businesses, properties, and public spaces along Florin Road.
The Partnership documents high level security incidents and activity throughout the corridor to help identify concerns and support a safer environment for businesses and visitors.
The security team issued 140 notices of trespass to help address unauthorized activity and protect businesses and properties throughout the corridor.
The Partnership’s security team responded to 2,560 calls for service, providing support to businesses, property owners, and visitors throughout the corridor.
Cleanup crews removed 3,270 pieces of trash from sidewalks, medians, and other public spaces to help keep the Florin Road corridor clean and welcoming.
Our maintenance provider removed 24 instances of graffiti to help maintain a clean district.
Clean up team completed 264 dump runs to remove illegally dumped materials and other debris from properties and public spaces along Florin Road.
